A letter from Bishop Ray Boggs

The Upper South Carolina Conference has been experiencing a genuine renewal of the Holy Spirit over the last six years. In 2015, we celebrated 100 years of becoming a conference in the International Pentecostal Holiness Church denomination. The Lord continues to show us His Mighty favor as we advance His purpose in our generation.

We are changing the name of the conference to Spirit Life Ministries. This will be the name we will be doing business as. The Conference Executive Council voted unanimously in its November 2016 meeting to adopt this name change.

We believe that for 100 years we let people know “where we were located”. Now it is our desire to let everyone know “who we are”. The new name truly represents our commitment to our Pentecostal heritage as well as bringing a unifying culture to our ministers and churches

Live. Move. Be.

The International Pentecostal Holiness Church (IPHC) is a historical Pentecostal denomination formed in 1898, but our spiritual roots are in the Day of Pentecost mentioned in the book of Acts. We currently have more than two million members and affiliates in 103 countries. As our name shows, we are also connected to the 19th century’s Holiness movement, with its emphasis on God’s power to enable His followers to live victoriously over sin. In brief, we believe in justification by faith, sanctification, baptism in the Holy Spirit, divine healing, and the second coming of Jesus Christ.
